There will be paintings on displayed at the event created by patients of the Nemours Children’s Hospital ranging from age 4 to 17 keeping in mind our Transportation theme. We will holding a Silent Auction with ALL  proceeds benefiting Nemours’ Creative Art Therapy Program. 

Starting bids will be $25 for each painting and increase in $5 increments. The paintings will be awarded to each winner at the end of the night. If you are unable to attend but would like to contribute to this program, please visit www.Nemours.corg.

Sandi Vidal is the Executive Director of Christian HELP and the Central Florida Employment Council. Sandi has over 15 years of Human Resources, recruiting and staffing experience including recruiting for a Fortune 500 company.  She currently writes a bi-weekly column on employment for the Seminole Voice and blogs for the Huffington Post.  For the past 6 years she has worked in non-profit and is passionate about helping those in need to become financially stable.  She is an avid volunteer, dedicating her time to Junior Achievement, Families in Transition Advisory Board, and the Christian Chamber Board of Advisors.  Sandi is married and has 3 amazing kids, and 3 cats.

Guest Speaker: Cindy Barth, Editor

Orlando Business Journal

 

In December of 2006, Cindy Barth was promoted to editor of Orlando Business Journal (OBJ). She had been managing editor of the newspaper since 1998. After first joining OBJ in 1992 as research director, Barth was named copy editor/special publications editor two years later and assumed a reporting role, as well. In 1997, she was named associate managing editor, overseeing the paper’s special sections, prior to becoming managing editor.
