2013 East Orlando Sponsorship & Marketing Opportunities

The East Orlando Chamber of Commerce produces a variety of events each year. Events are designed to benefit our members to help them foster business relationships. In addition to participating in events, sponsorship opportunities allow members to showcase their products and services.

East Orlando Chamber Community Kickball Challenge

The Community Kickball Challenge is our health and wellness event to jump start the New Year. This event will bring the community together to play a well loved sport with a portion of the proceeds to benefit a local non-profit. Date: Saturday, January 26, 2013. 

Capitol Connection – Central Florida Coalition

Capitol Connections is an event done in partnership with 5 area chambers, Oviedo-Winter Springs, Apopka, Metro Orlando Hispanic, West Orange, and Winter Park to form the Central Florida Coalition of Chambers.  It allows our members the opportunity to head to Tallahassee to speak with our legislative delegation and learn about state government and provide visibility to our chamber. Date: Tuesday, March 12 and Wednesday, March 13.

10th Annual Vision Event

The annual Vision Event carries on the work of the original East Orlando Visioning Study that was published in 2003. This year, our discussion will focus on transportation and its importance to the growth to the businesses in our East Orlando community. Date: Tuesday, May 21.

2nd Annual East Orlando Chamber Small Business Expo & Workshops

The East Orlando Small Business Expo & Workshops is an opportunity for our members and non-members to showcase their business, network with business members of the East Orlando community and learn some useful business tips through informative workshops geared to provide tools to help grow their business. Date: Friday, August 9.

29th Annual EOCC Golf Tournament

Our signature fundraising event takes place every September. For over 25 years, the tournament has been allowing businesses to network on the green.  A portion of the proceeds benefit a local East Orlando Chamber non-profit organization as well. Date: Thursday, September 5 – Business After Hours. Friday, September 6 – Golf Tournament.

Southeast Update Luncheon

Our Lake Nona Area Council (formerly SEOBC) presents this annual luncheon in partnership with the St. Cloud Greater Osceola Chamber of Commerce to provide an update on the economic development and initiatives taking place in the Southeast region (Lake Nona) of our chamber. Date: Wednesday, September 18. 

East Orlando Celebrates Education

This event is a fun-filled, community festival perfect for the entire family that supports our local Orange County Public Schools. This is an excellent opportunity for school groups to showcase their talent and to raise funds for their organizations. In addition to the school showcase, local businesses and non-profits can participate to feature their products and services. Date: Saturday, October 5.

East Orlando Chamber Celebrating Local Charities

This luncheon event is to showcase and recognize Non-Profit Organizations in the East Orlando community. It will allow the non-profits to present their cause and how they help in our community. Date: Wednesday, November 20.

New Member Orientation & Monthly Membership Luncheons

Our signature luncheons are held on the third Wednesdays of each month except where noted on our calendar. Our luncheons provide fantastic networking opportunities with fellow members and visitors, a keynote speaker or panel discussion and a delicious meal. Before the luncheon, we conduct our New Member Orientation to allow new members, old members and soon-to-be members the opportunity to meet each other, our Board members, Ambassadors and discover ways to get involved in our growing organization.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies

Ribbon cuttings and grand openings are a great way to get to know local businesses. Ribbon cutting ceremonies can be held for any special occasion, grand opening, anniversary or celebration.

Business After Hours

Held twice monthly, Business After Hours events are a great opportunity to meet fellow members in a relaxed atmosphere. Each event is held at a different member business and allows the host to showcase their location, products and services. Check our online calendar for upcoming event dates and locations.

Gift Baskets, Good Bags & Promotional Products

Here are some more great ways to market and promote your business:

1. Donate a gift basket to be raffled off as a door prize at our monthly luncheons or special events.

2. Provide goody bags that can be filled with items and distributed to our new members during orientation or special events.

3. Provide your promotion products to be placed in our goody bags for new members, our events or business expos we participate in.
